TUTORIAL for PTU kit Garden Party by MellieBeans

This tutorial was written by me on April 8, 2015.

Both the tag and the tutorial are purely my own work, 

and any similarities to anyone else's creations are purely coincidental.

I use Photoshop Elements 12, which is NOT the most updated version, so you may have a quicker way to do things.  I don't have any fancy plug-ins or flashy extras.  My way of making this tag is certainly NOT the only way, nor is it the best.  I only offer ONE way to create a tag.

Some knowledge of Photoshop (any version) is assumed and required for understanding this tutorial.

Tube: PFD Quest Miss Summer by Misticheskaya HERE
Kit: Garden Party by MellieBeans HERE, HERE, and HERE
Mask: 48 by Chas, Floral 2013 HERE
Font: Algerian HERE

File - New - Blank - 600 x 600 - 300 ppi - Rename Layer 0 - Flood Fill White - Hide

Open Chasmask 48 - Magic Eraser Tool - erase all black

Open Paper 11 - c/p above mask - Right Click - Create Clipping Mask -
Right Click - Merge Visible - c/p above Layer 0

Open Heart Wreath - c/p above mask - resize to 74 -
center on canvas

Open Mask element - c/p above ChasMask - center on ChasMask

Open Tube - c/p above both masks - resize to 95 -
reposition to right side, partially covering frame
Duplicate - move Tube copy above heart frame -
Carefully erase part of Tube that falls below the frame

Open Bush - c/p above both masks - resize to 52 -
reposition to left side

Open Wisteria - c/p above frame - resize to 45 - rotate 5° -
reposition at top left -
Duplicate - resize to 83 - reposition to top right

Open Grass - c/p above both masks - resize to 70 -
reposition to bottom center -
carefully erase grass that falls below frame

Open Hydrangeas - c/p above tube - resize to 17 - rotate -22° -
reposition to bottom right corner

Open BirdHouse - c/p above frame - resize to 35 -
reposition to left side

Open Flowers 11 - c/p above Hydrangeas - resize to 15 -
reposition to bottom right

Open Daisy - c/p above frame - resize to 15 -
reposition to bottom center

Open Flowers5 - c/p above tube - resize to 43 -
Image - Rotate - Flip layer Horizontal -
reposition to lower right - erase stem

Open Rose - c/p above daisy - resize to 18 -
reposition to bottom left, behind birdhouse
Duplicate - rotate 18° - move left slightly

Open Pansy - c/p above Rose - resize to 15 -
reposition between rose and yellow flower

Open Frog Statue - c/p as top layer - resize to 15 -
reposition to bottom left corner

Open Rabbit Statue - c/p as top layer - resize to 20 -
reposition to bottom center

Open Bird2 - c/p as top layer - resize to 18 -
reposition to BirdHouse roof

Hide both mask layers

Right Click - Merge Visible
Right Click - Duplicate Layer
Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur - 2.5 - OK
Blending Mode - Screen - Opacity 35%
Right Click - Merge Visible
Enhance - Auto Sharpen
Effects - Styles - Drop Shadows - Soft Edge (double click to apply)
Layer - Layer Style - Style Settings -
Size 10 - Distance 20 - Opacity 75

Unhide both mask layers
Right Click - Merge Visible
Effects - Styles - Drop Shadows - Soft Edge (double click to apply)
Layer - Layer Style - Style Settings -
Size 10 - Distance 20 - Opacity 75

New Text Layer - Size 14 - Color #b8b971 -
Type Name - OK - Reposition to bottom left
Graphics - Text - Outline (double click to apply) - OK
Layer - Layer Style - Style Settings -
Color #4d1421 - OK

Add credits

Save
